About the festival
At the annual festival of Chichibu Shrine, two kasaboko and four yatai floats are pulled through the city. The yatai can extend side stages to be assembled into kabuki stages, and float plays are performed on them. The kagura handed down at Chichibu Shrine is also designated an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property together with the float event.
